Reflection on the  '23 things'  

The things that I have found useful are:-

'Keeping up to date'  
 weeks 4, 5 & 6
Time Management
week 9 (firefox)
Networking
weeks 10, 11 & 12
Office 2.0
week 21 (google docs)

The other 'things' at present I can not see being of any major help in what I do day to day, but that is not to say that in the future I will not be asked about them and at least I will have an idea of what they are and what they do.
Overall the instructions for each task were very good although I did encounter some problem with Diigo and Flickr as they would not let me register using my warwick email address.

week 8

These last three task have been interesting.  I do not know enough on a specifice subject to edit a Wiki entry and I don't what to add my blog to the UK library blog, but I did look at both,  On google Docs I went in and altered a document that other members of 23 things are already working on.  ps also looked at SlideShare so have and idea on its purpose.........

week 7

I am a bit late with this blog, due to me having problems getting on to Flickr.  I did follow the instruction but only managed to get part way before I was told on many occasions, after entering my birthday detail to '''Sign in''''again.(I must be to old for this)......  but in the end I got to Flickr  going via Yahoo......  I have yet to personalise my profile and upload photos but I aim to do this soon. 

Week 6

Not been a good week this week,  Could not register on Diigo so cannot comment on it.  Is it only me who had a problem?  Things got better I was able to look at End Note Web and Zotero, both not really of use to me but useful to know about in case I ever asked a question on referencing as least I will know what they are talking about.

weeks 4 and 5

It is a while since my last blog, but I have not been messing about I have set up my Twitter page and looked at Facebook in the Library.  As we have a break this week and time to reflect my thoughts at present are that I am not sure I will use Twitter a lot but that can also be said for Doodle, but I found igoogle and RSS feed useful.
Overall the '23 things' is providing me with a  better understanding of Web 2.0 technologies. Which given time I will be able to make good use of in my grid life.

Week 3

I think I have completed tasks 7 and 8  I will have to wait to see if anyone can attend my meeting.

It would have been quicker to ask people what time suited best in the time it has taken me,  but I am sure the more I use it the quicker I will get.  (so they say).

Anyway on my way now to task 9  to find a fox on fire??????

Week two

Somehow I have managed to get myself signed in so I can have a go at writing another blog.......
Life in the Grid is quite at the moment, that is because it is 6.10pm and most normal people have gone home.
Something I will be doing shortly.
